I'm a 34-year-old gay man living in Brunswick, Melbourne with my partner and way too many houseplants.

I've been a barber for ten years, working in a bunch of different shops around Melbourne’s north, and even moving abroad to Canada for a while to work.

I'm bad at "about me" stuff, so here’s a list of things I like (in no particular order):

- A good ramen

- Dogs (they’re just better than we are)

- Spacing out with a video game — mostly fighting games

- Doing ceramics (I'm just a beginner but already love it)

- Gardening, which at the moment is mostly just caring for way too many houseplants

- A queen who can lip sync the house down boots

- An eclectic love of music (everything from Sade to Mötley Crüe and a lot in between)

- The writing of James Baldwin

- The music and life of Ms. Grace Jones

- A good walk in the bush amongst the birds

- The movie The Fifth Element

- (Almost) anything designed by Craig Green

- Baked goods

- Aussie cultural treasures like Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Kath & Kim

- The sanity I’ve gained thanks to the gym (not so much from the going part)
